Liquid Foundation vs. Powder Foundation
Liquid or Powder, which is better? Well, there isn't an exact answer to that question; really, it depends on your skin type. For the longest time, I used liquid foundation and I saw that my skin began to look greasy and shiny, overall, not my best. Then, I switched to powder foundation and it gave my skin more of a natural look. However, that does not apply to everyone; If you have oily skin, you should lean towards powder products, but if you have dry skin, try using liquid foundation. This website gives the pros and cons of both liquid and powder and explains how to choose and how to apply.

I'm definitely all about the powder foundation. The past two years I’ve been getting my makeup and bare minerals and have realized how much better my skin feels and looks when i use it. Sometimes i feel as if liquid foundation clogs up my pours and feels too heavy on my face, but then again...that's just me. Although bare minerals can be expensive, my makeup lasts me about six months and gives off a nice natural glow.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the powder foundation. I attempted to try out the liquid one time, and I hated the way my skin looked with it on. However, I do know some people who can pull off the liquid foundation look; but like you and this article said, it's all about your skin type and personal preference.
